Shawn began setting tile at 20 while working beside his father. He learned by measuring, preparing, laying out, and finishing rooms for homeowners who expected the details to hold up every day.
He later ran his own company in Moorhead, Minnesota, returned to the Twin Cities for another stretch on his father’s crew, and founded Precision Tiling in 2018. The path shaped a focused standard: the person who understands the proposal stays close to the work that fulfills it.
Today, Shawn carries more than 400 completed projects across his career. He still meets homeowners in their space, confirms the scope from the room itself, and leads the project with the crew responsible for the finished result.
