Steam is a different physics problem
A regular shower manages falling water, which obeys gravity and heads for the drain. A steam shower manages pressurized vapor that rises, finds every unsealed seam, and condenses inside whatever cavity it reaches. That is why the entire enclosure gets built as one vapor-rated system, ceiling included, rather than as a tile shower with a generator attached to it.
Sizing and placing the generator
The generator decides the experience. We size it to the enclosure’s cubic volume and to the thermal mass of your tile, because a stone room pulls more power to reach temperature than a porcelain one and then holds it longer. Placement matters as much as size: close enough for fast steam, positioned for quiet operation, and reachable for service without opening a finished wall. A digital control inside the shower runs temperature and duration.
Where steam fits
Steam lives at the top of our Spa band, usually paired with a curbless entry, a bench sized for sitting a while, and lighting that reads well through fog. If your primary bath is headed toward $60,000 and up, the consultation is the right moment to decide, because the enclosure gets designed around steam from the first drawing rather than adapted to it later.
